Adopting an Animal
Thank you for considering pet adoption with Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network in Stokesdale, NC! Whether you are looking for a dog, cat, horse, domestic farm animal or an exotic animal, we have a friend for you.
Steps to Adoption

Find a Friend:
Choose what type of animal you want to adopt below. View that page for adoptable animals, and click on the animal you are interested in.

Application:
On the animal page you are interested in, click “Apply for Adoption” to fill out the application. Or if you’ve not decided on an animal yet, fill out a general Adoption Application on the adoptable animal’s page.

Our application screeners will follow up with you with more info.

Meet & Greet:
Foster parents will arrange for in-person meetings for you and the animal.

Adoption Fees
Dogs
$300 for a puppy or dog
Cats
$160 for a single cat/kitten or $275 for a bonded pair
Exotics
$40-150 (on average) depending on species
Farm Animals
$150 for a single animal or $300 for a bonded pair
Horses
$500-1000+ based on ridability and training
All animals in our program have received a veterinary exam, appropriate vaccines and medical testing, and castration surgery based on species.
