Scarlett is a seven year old full-breed Llaso Apso.  She is a very loving and loyal lap dog who is eager to lavish love and affection upon her owner. Scarlett does not work or play well with others and needs to be the only pet in a child-free home. She is crate-trained, but has had some potty training issues. She is on Prescription ID dry dog food and has about 30 pounds of food that will be donated with her. She recently had a physical and is up to date on her shots. Scarlett needs a patient owner with a fenced in yard. Sammy is as sweet as they come, but a bit timid around strangers and children.  She would do best with a single person or a couple with no small children. She doesn't seem to mind dogs as long as they don't chase her. Her Siamese color is set off with a little mix of calico that really shows off her beautiful blue and red eyes.  She has been spayed and will soon be due for her rabies booster. Buddy was rescued as a stray at about 6 months old and is now about 3 1/2. Lady is a very sweet and affectionate black lab mix that was found about 3 1/2 months ago by her current caretakers.  She is about 16-20 months old and weighs 55 pounds.  The veterinarian that examined her said she has healthy eyes, ears, gums/teeth, and a nice shiny coat.  Her overall appearance is in very good health.  Lady enjoys attention and human interaction and is kid and animal friendly.  She is housebroken and knows simple commands like "sit" and "stay."  She also plays fetch and knows to bring the ball back.  Lady is not spayed.  For more information on Lady, please contact Shawn at (336) 471-7400. 

Elizabeth is a four year old English Setter that was rescued from a local animal shelter.  Her current owners suspect that she was once in a puppy mill -- she was underweight, missing a couple of teeth, and her coat was in awful condition.  Elizabeth is little for a female English Setter at 28 pounds, but she is the ideal size for a lap dog.  She will probably do best in a calm household where she can be the only pet, as she has no interest in playing with other dogs  -- she is not aggressive toward them, but they tend to bug her.  Please contact Lovelle Overbey at (336) 834-0600 for more information.

Meeko is a black lab mix that was rescued from an abusive environment. He is about 3 or 4 years old, has all his shots, neutered, and on flea/tick and heartworm meds. He is very good with other dogs and even shares his bed with a cat! He has been around horses and does great with them, even running along beside when his foster parents go for rides. Casslyn is 7 years old, has medium length hair, and weighs about 5 pounds.  She is a very petite cat. She is shy but very loving and loves to play in the laundry basket and any kind of box. Buddy is a Great Pyrenees and Beagle mix. He has a great disposition and is very loving and loyal. Raleigh is a sweet boy who was dropped off northwest of Winston Salem. This sweet boy is very energetic and is an excellent playmate for the other dogs at his foster home.
